My all time favorite lip products!

Lip balm, lip tinted, lipstick and lip gloss. I love all of them. That is why I am introducing my lippy collection. Most of them are natural without harsh ingredients. I hope you like it and please share your favorites lip products to me.

Sugar Petal by Fresh: A nice pink color that is very similar to my lip color. With SPF 15, you can't go wrong with this. The down side is some of the ingredients I don't really like.

Alba SPF 15 Blaze: Love, love, love this lip balm. (sorry for the peeled package). When i was looking for a SPF lip balm that came cross with this one. I was surprised with the price (CHEAP!) and the good quality. It says it is 100% mineral colors and chemical free SPF. Natural SPF 18 plus nice color on it, also you can't beat the price. DONE DEAL!

Burt's Bee Sweet Violet, Rose, Red Dahlia: They are nice colors with a layer of shine when you apply on your lips. It doesn't feel greasy nor thick. However, the colors are quite sheer that don't really appear on my lips. I guess the colors are build-able. I will keep using it, especially Sweet Violet which has nice pink and a hint of purple color. It is good for spring and summer.

Dizzy by ILIA: When i first got into green skincare, i went to a store in San Francisco that i can get ILIA products there. I didn't want to buy a lipstick that i can't try it on, so the sales girl helped with to choose this color- a beautiful/ summery orange color. It's called "tinted lip conditioner", so it's not really a lipstick which feels more like a tinted balm. It is the most expensive one out of others lip products i have. $24 with sale tax. Ouch....my wallet hurts. I like the texture and color.Maybe i was obsessed with  this brand's imagine and you can always see ILIA in high fashion magazines and fashion shows. I want to try other colors but i need to save some pockets money first.

Soft Bronze by Lavera: I like Lavera products! Hey! Any product from Germany, who doesn't like it? I have a German car, a German dog and a husband who lived in Germany. Lavera proucts, just pick any you would like it as well. This lip balm has a soft shimmering nude color, i think it's good with a smokey makeup. Around $6 for a nude color lip balm, it's not that bad. Plus, It's Lavera from Germany. Please go get one!

Gisella by Becca: I have to say it this is the color that i always want it and get a lot of compliments when i wear it. However, it's not a natural product. I hate you Becca! Why you are using all these nasty ingredients that my lips say "NO!" to you. I have been looking for this pale pink/ nude color with a nice pigment in any green lip products and I haven't be able to find a similar one though. Please let me know if you can find a similar color to this. I will send you back a gift if you could find one.

Lychee by 100% Pure: Nice package, nice natural ingredients, and affordable price! WIN WIN! It's a little dark on my lips. It's almost red but not and almost pink but not really, it's a dilemma on my lips. (my Asian skin tone). $15. I would try to get another color and see how it goes.

Valentine and Burlesque by Honeybee Gardens: Valentine: a girly pink color that all young women would love to have one. It has good natural ingredients but the lipsticks are easy to BREAK! The second time i put it on, it broke afterwards. Now i have to use a lip brush to put in on. Burlesque: Sparkly ruby fuchsia color that is build-able. I love the textures, colors, and ingredients but i need a lipstick that is not easy to break!

Paint me healed and paint me free by Peacekeeper: Sorry about this! These beautiful lipsticks are discontinue. What a bad decision! Because they have beautiful shades and best ingredients. I guess it's difficult to compete with other companies so they decided to stop carrying them. I emailed the company and asked why they don't have it on their web-site anymore, but i never get a reply. Hopefully they will come up with other good lip products soon! Wait! I just found out that you can still buy the lipsticks online just not with their web-site! YEAH!

Vroom by Silk Naturals: I know about Silk naturals from a YouTube green beauty guru. VROOM! a cool tone red color that is good for any occasion. For a wedding, Christmas and New years day. The creamy texture and a nice pigment. A beautiful long-lasting natural red lipstick that is lower than 10 bucks. A must-buy item!

MY THOUGHT:

I bought some goodies from Lovelula.com, and they gave me three free samples. I chose this rose face serum without a doubt because I always love rose as a ingredient in skincare. My skin tends to be dry. Rose and Geranium oil are prefer for my skin type. 

Talking about this brand - Estelle & Thild which is from Sweden, It has got the Organic certification, as far as I know that is very difficult to have this qualification. I am impressed with this company as well as the packages of its products. The design is simple yet chic. 

After trying this face serum, I love it instantly. It has a nice consistency and is very moisturizing. Rose otto serum is good for dry/ mature skin. The smell is wonderful; It has a hint of rose, pine and some floral smell in it. I will use this face serum all year long. I think It is good to use as a base before putting sunscreen and foundation. 

For the price, It is a reasonable price mark. Lovelula is selling for 47 pounds (about USD 73) and they have free delivery worldwide which is unbelievable. You could tell that cosmetics industry is very competitive nowadays. 

After all, I will purchase this product in full size. Definitely, I will buy It from Lovelula.com. 

New Start!

I haven't been back for another 3 months. My life has been busy! I moved to Oregon in May, then adjusting to a rural area, and getting a new puppy. 

It's a such a big difference for me to move to a small town. Having to live in a city- San Francisco, I'd more appreciate how amazing is SF. For some parts of SF, I don't like it much. But for the most parts, like food, shopping, and transportation ...etc.  I miss them so much now! 

Other than that, I'm happy to live in Brookings, Oregon. I live in the house where is 5 minutes away from the beach, I can watch the beautiful sunset everyday. Fresh air, pure water, and beautiful nature surroundings. Those things are the most credited for this small town. 

Anyways, I just want to update my life. Life is beautiful, I always remind myself :) 

 

Packing for a trip

Since I'm visiting my husband's parents in Kansas. I need to pack some stuff that can last for 2 weeks. Of course, I'm speaking about packing some skin care and makeup goodies.

For me, I don't hate packing at all. Because I like traveling. When I pack my stuff, I'm always excited about flying out of the town. (I hate SF so much. No...I'm kidding). Every time I pack my stuff for a trip, whether it is 2 days or 2 weeks. I spend almost the same time to pack. Packing can be fun! While you are packing your beauty goodies, you can go thought it. Some of the stuff might not be fresh and already expired. NOW it's a time to toss all of the junks. Or some of cosmetic that you just put it aside and hide it in the corner. Then your eyes are blinking that like finding some treasures.

Finally, I'm blogging again!

It's been a while I haven't updated my old blog. But I wanted to have a new blog to write about my new life in the U.S. 2013 is a new and challenging year to me. I got married in the early 2013, started a family with my honey, and I got to meet my new family members on my wedding day which was a memorable day to me. I feel so lucky to have my beloved partner and his family and my family supporting me.

Beside the new marriage life, I'm taking a break from school for now. At the mean time, I've been surfing on net that I can update myself with beauty, fashion, and news from Hong Kong and Asia or around the world.

For beauty stuff, I do like it a lot. I'm trying to find some organic, natural, less harsh ingredients with good quality skin care or makeup for myself. As I get older, I want to treat my skin better. Though, I can't stop myself being aging, we have always found new products or methods to slow down aging.

Hopefully I can update this blog as often as I can. Lastly, for this blog I want to share my life with beauty things to my beautiful friends and readers.

P.S. My English writing is not prefect, It may contain some grammar errors, but I will try my best on writing in English. It's the best way to improve my writing skill. (Plus, It's much funner than writing an essay)..hahaa
